Spring Festival, a big annual festival in China, will come in a week. Mrs. Mai from Hong Kong gave Fuda medical staff a surprise for this Spring Festival.
Mrs. Mai's husband, 48, had liver problems three years ago and was later diagnosed with primary liver cancer. Doctors in Hong Kong told them that he could only live for two years at most. The couple believed that treatment in Hong Kong could not meet their needs, so they looked for other treatment options. They found Fuda Cancer Hospital, and she said the reasons for their choice were that Fuda has innovative and minimally invasive technologies that could help her husband and that Fuda is close to their home.
After Spring Festival, Mrs. Mai's husband will enter his third year of anti-cancer, and now he still looks good. During their stay in hospital, Mrs. Mai did something for the paramedics in order to express her gratitude to Fuda. These days, Mrs. Mai is busy decorating the nurse station on the third floor for the Spring Festival.
"Had it not been for Fuda's doctors, my husband would not have been around, and I would not have had a chance to decorate here. I wanna do it to express my gratitude," said Mrs. Mai.
