On June 25, Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital-Indonesian Office held "Talks between Indonesian Anti-Cancer Warriors & Caring Ambassadors" at The Westin Hotel in Jakarta to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Guangzhou Fuda Cancer Hospital (Fuda). Prof. Niu Lizhi, president of Fuda was invited to have a face-to -face talk with Indonesian patients.
Prof. Niu and Director Liu Zhengping delivered speeches respectively during the talks and presented honorary certificates to anti-cancer warriors and cancer ambassadors for their trust and tremendous support toward Fuda throughout these years. Thanks to their help, more and more cancer patients can witness the amazing achievements made by Fuda in comprehensive minimally invasive treatment, and learn about cancer prevention and receive effective timely treatment at Fuda.
Prof. Niu, though tired after a long trip, felt extremely gratified when he met many Indonesian patients who survived nearly 20 years and enjoyed their life happily after treatment for advanced cancer at Fuda. A sense of accomplishment and happiness fulfilled his heart. He made a solemn commitment in front of those anti-cancer warriors to be a noble oncologist with better skill and higher medical ethics.
Prof. Niu graduated from the Fourth Military Medical University with a doctoral degree in Thoracic & Cardiac Surgery. He is vice president of International Society of Cryosurgery (ISC) and vice president of Asian Society of Cryosurgery as well as the doctoral supervisor of Jinan University.
Prof. Niu has received more than 50 visitors and trainers from home and abroad, among whom 39 students are from 4 batches of cryosurgery training courses approved by the national medical further education department. In recent years, he has engaged in percutaneous minimally invasive cancer treatments, and has achieved outstanding results in cryosurgery, radiofrequency therapy for tumor reduction, etc. He is known as "Hero of Double Knives" amid patients due to his excellent skills.
