It is very difficult to classify whether a disease is curable or incurable. The term “ultimate challenge” is often used to motivate people to accomplish something great or to scale greater success in their life. Scaling the Mount Everest and reach its summit is definitely no easy feat, but it is not the ultimate limit of man. Not only can man do space walk, he can perform longer space walk and travel much longer in space now. What seems impossible can become possible. The same applies to cancer treatment. There are many cases of cancer patients considered “incurable” by some doctors that have been cured by other doctors. If we regard healing cancer patients who have “incurable” cancer as an “ultimate challenge”, then I can claim that for the period of 2001 to 2010, I had six ultimate challenges involving seven cancer patients. These seven cancer patients had been considered impossible to cure by many doctors. They had no choice but to come to us for treatment. To us and the seven patients, it was a battle of life and death in which we emerged triumphantly. The episode involving Ximei as described earlier was the sixth challenge we had had.
