Diwali, also spelled Deepavali, is a Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated every autumn in the northern hemisphere (spring in southern hemisphere). One of the most popular festivals of Hinduism, Diwali symbolises the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance."
In order to make Indian patients feel the same atmosphere of Diwali, our staff brought fruit baskets and traditional Indian snacks to the ward and shown their blessings.
"When the door opened, I feel like home," said the son of a patient who had just arrived few days ago. All of this is what Fuda wants every patient to feel most besides professional treatment - the kindness and enthusiasm they make others feel.
Happy Diwali !
